A Farewell To Os X

Something very upsetting happened in September 2009.

While living in a basement, my ibook G4's power supply cable was sheared from ordinary use. When I discovered that a replacement would cost nearly $100, far beyond the means of a typical basement dweller, I became disillusioned with Apple.

As a result I purchased affordable hardware and began using linux exclusively -- saving potentially tens of thousands of dollars on overpriced hardware in the following years.
